Nice to meet you
I am a compassionate and creative UX Researcher with more than ten years of experience in healthcare working as an occupational therapist (OT). I am driven by a deep-rooted focus on the user, seeking to understand emotions and behavior. This focus drives meticulous research and innovative problem-solving to support users in overcoming challenges and maximizing potential through well-designed experiences. With an unwavering passion for growth and expanding my impact, I seek to merge my expertise as an OT with my understanding of UX principles to identify meaningful and user-focused solutions.
Making a shift to UX
Transitioning from OT to UX has been a natural and seamless progression in my career journey. Both practices share a common objective of understanding and improving the user experience by designing and delivering impactful solutions that address challenges and enhance individuals' lives. The alignment between the two fields becomes evident when applying the double-diamond process of design thinking. Moving forward, I aim to leverage the skills I have developed as an OT in order to elevate my work as a UX Researcher and further the impact I can provide.
